On-Line Publishers, Inc./50plus Senior News presented the first ever PA State Senior Idol competition in Spring 2006. Almost 100 individuals auditioned for a chance to be named PA State Senior Idol. Regional auditions were held in five locations with three representatives selected from each site to move on to the finals. The youngest contender was 50 and the oldest was 89! The 15 regional representatives who participated in the finals represented a diverse group of entertainers, ranging from instrumentalists and vocalists to comedians. Behind the scene interviews are included on this DVD to provide a personal glimpse of each contestant.
